- Back-chaining :repeat the sentence in chunks, starting at the end:
“Black Mercedes”, then

Stages in listening activities:
These are the logical stages when doing a
listening exercise with students
- Play listening extract for the first time
- Warm up / set the scene
- Play a 2nd time and eg. Fill in blanks / put text in order
- Teach key vocabulary
- Pair up students and ask them to compare answers
- Give follow-up instructions
- Students report back to whole class
